Santorini Summer Chateau de Villette garden wedding

Linda McGowan imagined "When France meets Santorini Summer" theme for this wedding inspiration: ivory, blush, soft yellow, lemon colors. The flowers should be very organic, loose, lush and romantic with a touch of Provencal Luxe. All set-up in one the most beautiful French castles - breathtaking Chateau de Villette, overlooking gorgeous gardens.

Located 40 minutes away from the center of Paris, Château de Villette is one of the most remarkable châteaux in France, classified as a historical landmark since 1942. A magnificent cascade fountain, incredibly lavish interiors, Chateau de Villette epitomizes elegance, luxury and the famous French expression “art de vivre”. Château de Villette was built by chief-architect of Louis XV, who also oversaw the construction of Château de Versailles at the same time and its gardens by André Le Nôtre, who also created the famous gardens of Château de Versailles. Thus, it has earned the name Le Petit Versailles (the Little Versailles).

For the table setup we've chosen a "never-used before" beautiful garden area, which is absolutely perfect for a more intimate dinner, which will definitely get more popular during current circumstances. It's full of greenery, with a beautiful statue and stones. Ethy from Letter Blooms calligraphed lemons to create unique "place cards". Esther Lamarche also used a lot of lemons in her floral compositions. We used Château de Villette garden chairs, blue and white tableware from Maison Options and white candles. The final touch was the "flower curtain" ephemeral installation by Esther Lamarche Design.

Our beautiful bride wore a white wedding gown from the TopBridal Paris boutique. Bridal make-up and hair were done by Tatiana Zinchuk: a classic up-do first and structured natural wavy hair for the second look. The looks were completed with hand-made earrings & hair accessory from our favorite Swiss-Italian brand Della Bella Gioielli. She also wore her gorgeous engagement ring by Amantys Paris. The groom was wearing a Chris Von Martial suit with a dark velvet bow tie.

Belo from Wedding Cakes & Co created a 3-tier white wedding cake with Sicilian majolica ornaments and hand-made sugar lemons. It would be absolutely perfect for Mediterranean wedding theme. Lettering by GRG created a luxury invitation suit printed in a triple thick cardstock with gold edging and pheasant detailing on the envelope liner.

One more essential element on a hot summer wedding day is a lemonade bar for guests, installed on a Maison Options carriage with blue jars and beautiful organic flowers.
